Deborah has been at WB Pennine Solicitors since 2021, and has over 35 years of experience as a family lawyer. Deborah specialises in dealing with financial matters on divorce and separation and is experienced in dealing with high net worth cases. Deborah also deals with all other aspects of family law, including, co-habitation and pre and post nuptial agreements.

Molly is a residential conveyancing solicitor based in our Hoyland ofice. She has a wealth of experience, and as such she represents a lot of local developers in new build sales, demonstrating her proficiency within the field.

David joined us March 2017. He assists on residential property cases, including sales, purchases, transfers and remortgages at our Attercliffe office. David gained nearly 10 years of experience working in Mortgages and Security in the Banking sector before joining the firm, which in turn, built up his knowledge of the Conveyancing process.

Gemma Anderson

Gemma Anderson is a dedicated Legal Assistant at the Hillsborough office. She specialises in residential conveyancing matters. Gemma joined the team in July 2022 and has since provided invaluable support to Georgia, assisting in various aspects of conveyancing transactions. Gemma has a passion for client service, ensuring smooth and efficient residential conveyancing transactions for clients.

Georgia Lowson

Conveyancer

Georgia joined in 2014 as a trainee but has since progressed to a residential conveyancer. She is currently studying her CILEX Level 3. Georgia plays for Sheffield Wednesday Ladies and enjoys socialising with friends.

Lisa passed her ILEX Legal Secretarial course in 1999 and has worked in the legal sector for 25 years. Lisa deals with a range of cases where within conveyancing including sales, purchases, transfer of equity and remortgages.

Antony Exley was born and grew up in Barnsley. Antony works in the wills and probate department and deals with wills, estate administration, powers of attorney, clients concerned with Long Term Care issues, asset preservation and Court of Protection work.

Linda Storrie

Linda Storrie is a seasoned Chartered Legal Executive in the Hillsborough Office, bringing over three decades of experience in the legal field to her role. Authorised by the Chartered Institute of Legal Executives (CILEx) in 2006, Linda serves clients in both Conveyancing and Private Client matters, including Probate and Wills.

Alice Richardson

Legal Assistant

Alice graduated from her law degree in 2020 and started working in law from 2018. Alice then first joined WB in 2023 before re-joining in October 2024. Alice currently assists Deborah Bates in the Family Law department. Some of the things she helps with are drafting and submitting Divorce applications and drafting Change of Name Deeds.

Amanda began her legal career in 2001 as a legal assistant, before joining WB Pennine in 2021. As part of her role, she assists property lawyers in all aspects of conveyancing, from speaking with clients, agents and solicitors to drafting contract packs and dealing with completions.

Susan began as an apprentice receptionist in 2013, then worked in conveyancing for 5 years before earning a Level 4 Diploma in 2021. As part of her role, Susan is the first point of contact for clients, estate agents and solicitors and assist with any queries they may have.

Sian Faries is a member of the conveyancing team at our Attercliffe Office. She is also responsible for archiving documents such as Wills, Deeds and Securities in our secure storage. In her role as a Legal Assistant, Sian handles client enquiries, provides fixed-fee conveyancing quotes, opens files and applies for searches.

Ryan Butcher

Litigation Paralegal

Ryan completed his Law LLB in 2016 then his Global Commercial Law LLM in 2017. Since then, Ryan has worked as a paralegal in practice for more then 7 years in various practice areas. As part of Ryan’s role, he updates clients and other third parties on claims, takes new enquiries as well as drafting relevant documents. The work Ryan does ensures a smooth progression for clients making their experience a positive one.

Alicia graduated from the University of Leeds having obtained a degree in ancient history in the summer of 2024, before joining later on in the year. She was then offered a permanent role in January 2025. As part of her role, Alicia provides assistance to primarily the Conveyancing Department and also the Private Client Department. From the quotation stage, opening files and issuing client care packs, to assisting with Contract Packs and beyond.

Tyra is from Barnsley and has worked in law for over 15 years.

She joined us in October 2015. Tyra is likely the first person you’ll meet if you visit our Barnsley office. Her role predominantly covers reception duties, but she also helps around the office wherever her skills are needed. She assists with administration and typing for conveyancing, probate and personal injury claims.

Rosina Fannan has worked in the legal sector for over 30 years. She is originally from the North East where she started working as a Paralegal/Legal Secretary at the age of 16! Rosina joined us in 2014 as a secretary at our Barnsley office. She currently works in the Private Client department, providing secretarial support for our Wills, Trusts and Probate file handlers.
