Ian has 30 years of experience managing growth and success across the commercial sector. In 1992, Ian began his journey in law, successfully qualifying in the year 2000. Outside work, Ian is a keen cyclist.

Jamie spans across multiple work types, specialising in civil litigation and corporate and commercial law. His clients find him approachable and supportive and are often repeat clients or recommendations.

Bill has over 50 years experience within many legal disciplines, including residential and commercial property, business sales and purchase, company, partnerships, civil litigation and divorce and employment.

Sonia puts hard work into helping people claim for serious personal injuries and is particularly interested in rehabilitation needs of her clients and getting them the right care, both immediately post-accident and in the future.

Ellie is a newly qualified solicitor within Private Client. Driven by a desire to assist clients in planning for their futures and navigating complex legal issues, Ellie demonstrates a keen attention to detail and a commitment to providing exemplary service.

Frazer is a solicitor within our Wills, Trust & Probate. Admitted in 1990, Frazer has a wealth of experience he offers his clients. He also has vast experience of contentious probate, general litigation and personal injury claims.

Molly is a residential conveyancing solicitor based in our Hoyland ofice. She has a wealth of experience, and as such she represents a lot of local developers in new build sales, demonstrating her proficiency within the field.

Conveyancer

Georgia joined in 2014 as a trainee but has since progressed to a residential conveyancer. She is currently studying her CILEX Level 3. Georgia plays for Sheffield Wednesday Ladies and enjoys socialising with friends.

Sarah is a conveyancer undertaking sale purchase and remortgage matters. Her favourite part of the job is looking through title deeds. To unwind, Sarah enjoys colouring and painting. Sarah finds art to be very therapeutic.

Nathan is a newly qualified solicitor working with the private client department. Nathan dedicates himself to his clients ensuring he is providing an empathetic approach to all of his clients. Outside of work, Nathan is active within the community including mentoring in local schools.

Residential Conveyancer

Lyndsay is a seasoned Residential Conveyancer at WB Pennine Solicitors Penistone office. She brings five years of legal experience and a CLC Intro to Conveyancing qualification to her role. Lyndsay’s journey in the legal field began with a passion for conveyancing, which she has honed and expanded upon throughout her career.

Wills & Trusts Planner

Yvonne Copley was born and has always lived in Barnsley. After working in various roles, she has worked in the Wills, Trusts & Probate Department for many years. Outside work Yvonne likes reading, gardening and DIY.

Wills & Trusts Planner

Leanne Ronksley is a Wills and Trusts Planner who works mainly out of our Gleadless Office, although can also be found at our Attercliffe and Hillsborough offices. Outside of work Leanne essentially has a small-scale zoo, owning 2 horses and 3 dogs.

Probate Executive

Antony Exley was born and grew up in Barnsley. Antony works in the wills and probate department and deals with wills, estate administration, powers of attorney, clients concerned with Long Term Care issues, asset preservation and Court of Protection work.

Legal Executive

Linda Storrie is a seasoned Chartered Legal Executive in the Hillsborough Office, bringing over three decades of experience in the legal field to her role. Authorised by the Chartered Institute of Legal Executives (CILEx) in 2006, Linda serves clients in both Conveyancing and Private Client matters, including Probate and Wills.

Legal Assistant

Sian Faries is a member of the conveyancing team at our Attercliffe Office. She is also responsible for archiving documents such as Wills, Deeds and Securities in our secure storage. In her role as a Legal Assistant, Sian handles client enquiries, provides fixed-fee conveyancing quotes, opens files and applies for searches.

Legal Assistant

David joined us March 2017. He assists on residential property cases, including sales, purchases, transfers and remortgages at our Attercliffe office. David gained nearly 10 years of experience working in Mortgages and Security in the Banking sector before joining the firm, which in turn, built up his knowledge of the Conveyancing process.

Rachel Hutchinson brings a wealth of experience and a compassionate spirit to her role as a Legal Secretary/Assistant at our Barnsley office. With a diverse background in legal administration and a genuine passion for supporting clients, Rachel is well liked.

Rachel unwavering dedication, coupled with her compassionate nature and diverse skill set, make her an invaluable asset to us.

Legal Assistant

Gemma Anderson is a dedicated Legal Assistant at the Hillsborough office. She specialises in residential conveyancing matters. Gemma joined the team in July 2022 and has since provided invaluable support to Georgia, assisting in various aspects of conveyancing transactions. Gemma has a passion for client service, ensuring smooth and efficient residential conveyancing transactions for clients.

Paralegal

James Hardy is a Paralegal with over 20 years of industry experience, dealing mostly with Road Traffic Accident claims, Public liability and Employment liability claims. As part of a vastly experienced Personal Injury team, James uses his extensive industry knowledge to ensure the best outcome for his clients. James takes great pride in working closely with clients so that he can have a positive effect on their life as well as a successful personal injury claim.

Paralegal

Lisa was born in Sheffield and has been working at with us for over 20 years. She now works as a Paralegal within the Personal Injury department where she deals with personal injury claims arising out of accidents at work, road traffic accidents, hire claims, low-velocity impact claims and vehicle damage claims.

She has an extensive understanding of equine issues including Road Traffic Accidents involving horses.

Legal Admin Assistant

Tyra is from Barnsley and has worked in law for over 15 years.

She joined us in October 2015. Tyra is likely the first person you’ll meet if you visit our Barnsley office. Her role predominantly covers reception duties, but she also helps around the office wherever her skills are needed. She assists with administration and typing for conveyancing, probate and personal injury claims.

Secretary

Rosina Fannan has worked in the legal sector for over 30 years. She is originally from the North East where she started working as a Paralegal/Legal Secretary at the age of 16! Rosina joined us in 2014 as a secretary at our Barnsley office. She currently works in the Private Client department, providing secretarial support for our Wills, Trusts and Probate file handlers.
